There are 22 wineries in the immediate Rutherglen area, several with their own restaurants. We advise a 2 or 4 night stay to do justice to visiting all the wineries and sampling the fine food at the surrounding restaurants.
Walkabout Motel offers all our guests the opportunity to use OUR VERY OWN Wine Tour Service! Our limousine's can cater for varying numbers of people, whether it be 2 people or a large group, we ensure a fantastic day! Simply ask our friendly staff when making your accommodation booking.
All our guests are more than welcome to use the facilities at our motel. Relax by the pool, read a book or just take in the day watching the world go by or visit the local region: Albury / Wodonga / Wangaratta / Corowa / Beechworth / Milawa and Howlong.
